Children are welcome in worship at Grace of God. Each Sunday Pastor Jon gives a Children's Message where children are invited forward during worship for a short message.
Even small children are welcome in worship. "Busy bags" are available in the Good Shepherd Room just outside the main entrance to the worship space. They hang on the wall. Feel free to bring one into worship to keep the little ones busy if needed. The Good Shepherd Room is also equipped with a speaker to hear the worship service if the need arrises. The controls are on the wall near the door, the volume is often down so be sure to turn it up.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is an opportunity, in the summer, to know and love Jesus more. Children from pre-school through sixth grade are invited to participate in learning more about the life of Jesus through dramas, crafts, songs, and experiential learning in a "Christ centered" Bible times environment. Youth and adults from Grace of God serve as leaders and helpers for this unique, and important ministry. Children for the congregation and the community are invited and encouraged to attend.
The theme this past year was Wildreness Escape, Where God Guides and Provides! It was a huge success. Thank you to all who volunteered. This year all of our youth "tribe" leaders were former Grace of God vacation bible school kids!!
Getting S'more out of Jesus! 2018 Vacation Bible School is open for registration! August 14th-16th from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Register now by calling 651-730-4900 or filling out this ONLINE FORM.
First Communion is offered to children in fifth grade (or older) who have been prepared to receive the sacrament. We believe that most children at this age are able to recognize their sin and need for God's grace given in the sacrament and that they are able to discern with faith, the body and blood of Jesus in the bread and wine. To prepare students for this important event in their lives of faith, students will do the following:
In sixth grade, children are taught the life and faith of Martin Luther. Not only is Luther's life important to understanding the history of our church, but his life also instructs us in important biblical doctrines like sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and conversion. Pre-Confirmation meets Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm.
Grades 7 & 8 (or older) can attend Confirmation. Confirmation meets Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm.
Youth Bible Study
Senior High youth that are already confirmed can attend Youth Bible Study on Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm.
